We caught up with Timbermark to celebrate their recent success of achieving:
We asked Kevin Smyth (SHEQ Manager) to share with us his experience using SCS as their trusted ISO certification body. This is what he had to say:
“I have been engaged with System Certification Services Limited (SCS) for some 5 years, first with 3 Interiors Contracts and most recently with Timbermark Manufacturers Limited who just achieved certification against the ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards for the first time. The team at SCS have provided invaluable support for both companies and the audit team delivered on a very thorough and professional audit plan which supported the continuous improvement ethos of the ISO standards. The introduction of the three ISO standards as an Integrated Management System, along with the guidance and support from SCS have also facilitated the development of both companies in their approach to business management through process management which has enabled the organisations to improve not just quality of products and services to our clients, but also an improved safety culture and environmental impact controls”.

Our Lead Auditor also had some words to share:
“It is always encouraging when we encounter an organisation where its people are focused on what they do and how they do it. With Top Management buy-in and good communication throughout the organisation, there was a high level of identification and traceability throughout the product delivery process for the benefit of Timbermark’s blue chip customers in the hospitality and leisure industries. This made for an effective audit process where a positive recommendation was made with zero nonconformity identified during the sampling activities. Well done to all involved”.
If you are looking for certification for your project-based manufacturing organisation, then we would love to hear from you.
Kick-start your 2024 and achieve those goals with the help of ISO certification from a business that wants to help get you there.
