Going through a Recertification process is never an easy task, for most organisations, however………… Aidan Strain Electrical Engineering (ASEE) achieved their recertification with ZERO Non-Conformities!

A huge congratulations to them for all their hard work and commitment to achieving their objectives and consistently improving their organisational performance.

ASEE achieved recertification against the following international management system standards:

  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
  • ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems

Aidan Strain Electrical Engineering are based in Newry, County Down, and have been in business for over 40 years. During this time, ASEE has adapted with the changing industries, helping them to become the ‘best’ in their field. Surprisingly, most of ASEE’s work is carried out across Europe, and they achieved their first job in Ireland during 2023.

“The strengths of the ASEE management system continue to lie not only within the leadership and commitment shown by the senior management team but also the various levels of personnel within the organisation who are aware of the importance of their role and responsibilities within their own processes to ensure an effective system remains in place. Strategic planning and objectives will ensure continuous improvement for the bneefits of ASEE, their customers and other stakeholders”. (SCS Audit Team)

SCS staff recently caught up with the team at ASEE to present their certificates, visiting their fantastic facilities and taking in the beautiful views of the outstanding countryside surrounding their head office.

Kindly, Michael McAvoy (ISM), was up to share his experience working with SCS…

“ASEE have constantly reviewed our management system processes, and over the last certification cycle SCS and the audit team have assisted us both in the communication and planning of our external audit programme, and through the audit activities, in identifying opportunities for improvement that have been translated into actions which support the strategic direction of ASEE. Thank you to the audit team”.
